I purchased this product on 10/5/08 and it worked one day only. I cooked fries, fish, and shrimp at a temperature that the owners manual suggested. The taste was fantastic, but...The unit will not turn on (no display) which indicates that the thermal protection must have been activated (must be replaced by a service center). I'm returning the unit and looking for a better quality brand.
