Customer Review: Great coffee at a reasonable price

After ordering a couple of the more expensive coffee makers (then returning them for one reason or another) my husband and I decided to give the DeLonghi a try. We did not know much about this brand, but we have been very impressed with our new product. It has the cone-shaped filter we were looking for and an automatic timer so we can wake up to a freshly brewed pot of delicious coffee. We have found that we can use a little less coffee to obtain the same strength as before (probably because we previously had the basket filter), but even the stronger coffee is very good. The design of the coffee maker is practical and easy to use - and it looks good on our counter, too!
Description of DeLonghi DC122 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffeemaker with Programmable Digital Timer
Programmable up to 24 hours in advance for wake-up coffee, this coffeemaker brews twelve 5-ounce cups of coffee directly into a glass carafe and then automatically shuts off two hours later for safety. If the carafe is removed from the nonstick warming plate during the brewing process for a mid-brew pour, the coffeemaker pauses for 30 seconds so coffee doesn't drip onto the warming plate. A knuckle guard protects against heat when the carafe is lifted. For convenient filling, the water reservoir has a wide mouth, and an easy-read exterior gauge keeps track of the water level. More convenience comes in the form of a permanent filter that can be removed from the swing-out filter basket and cleaned in the dishwasher. The coffeemaker is clad in gleaming white plastic and measures 13-3/4 inches high, 9 inches wide, and 9-3/4 inches deep.
