Customer Review: Good Value, Kid Friendly

I purchased this before the cold weather hit after reading a review in the leading consumer magazine. It wasn't their top rated model, but I saw on online blog compare this with the top rated model, and I liked this units features. Simple settings (Off, Low, High) and analog temperature control. Once you find the temp you like, you only turn it off and on. You don't even need to see the controls to use them. That said, the High position isn't useful unless it's the only thing on the circuit, but I've found the Low (750 watts) just fine. We use it to heat the breakfast area, and it's placed right in front of a large north-facing set of glass doors. An eight-year-old in pajamas is comfortable sitting at the place right in front of the glass, no problem. I would buy this again, and it seems to be keeping our whole-house heating cost down since we don't have to pump the whole house up just to eat breakfast.Customer Review: Very pleased with this heater/radiator

I picked one of these up about a month ago and have been perfectly pleased with it. It warms my bedroom quietly and effectively throughout the night, allowing me to turn down my main thermostat an extra degree or two so the heat doesn't run all night trying to catch up with the requested temperature (a symptom of the poorly constructed building in which I'm presently living).
I specifically looked for this style of radiating heater in order to avoid the air being dried out by a more traditional heater-with-a-fan. I've used this for the past month and been very much pleased with it.

Consumer Reports recommended this particular heater. (I've always depended on the kindness of Consumer Reports.) This is where I found the best retail price, and I got quick delivery of an undamaged good-looking unit. It's still too early to make a good judgment about how economical it is, but I've noticed that the oil furnace doesn't start up nearly as often as last year...and that was my plan.Customer Review: DeLonghi HHP1500 heater

This is a great little heater. Since there is no fan, it is completely quiet. I had my doubts about heating the room without a fan, but no more: It heats up quickly and does a great job of keeping the room toasty! Customer Review: Very disappointed

I turned this on and it worked for a few hours then the room became cold and it never worked again. Not pleased with product. I am usually pleased by DeLonghi products; this one failed.
